Law of Gravity.
... We went into the garden, and we had drinks under the shade of some appletrees,
only him and myself. He told me, he was just in the same situation. The notion of gravitation came into his mind.
"Why should that apple always fall down to the ground," Isaac thought to him self. As Isaac sat in a curious mood, "Why should the apple not go sideways, or upwards? but always to the earths

drawing power that pulls it down. And the sum of the drawing power that pulls it down must be in the earths centre, not on and of the sides of the earth. Therefore
this apple will fall straight down, or towards the centre. If its the pull is the earth, plus it draws
gravity; it must be in proportion of its quantity. therefore the apple draws the
earth, as well as the earth draws the apple
